We offer hope for a fair future to refugees and asylum seekers who arrive at our door. Asylum seekers have been dispersed by the Home Office to Home Office accommodation in Swindon while their claims for asylum are considered. Swindon is one of four Home Office designated dispersal towns in the South West (the others are Bristol, Plymouth and Gloucester). We also support refugees who have been granted Leave to Remain in the UK and are living in Swindon.
Our everyday drop-in is the heart of what we do, where we support asylum seekers through the stressful process associated with seeking asylum. We offer support like no other organisation in Swindon, which is why we are so valued by our visitors. But our support doesn’t stop with help and advice, the power of a friendly face and warm welcome should not be underestimated.
We are here to see our visitors thrive whilst they build a new life in our community. But we could not keep our doors open without the generous support from our donors, funders and volunteers.
Through your gift, you can offer a friendly face and a cup of tea, you can help visitors to learn English and make Swindon a home. Most importantly, you offer a fair future.
